I recently saw Andrea Walford at the Paper Crafter's Library create a card with Washi tape. It looked like so much fun that I had to give it a try. I started with a several rolls of Washi Tape that I thought would look good together. I cut a piece of cardstock that was slightly smaller than the front of my cardbase and starting at the bottom began layering Washi tape across it leaving about a 1/4 inch of the tape hanging over the right and left edges. I layered the remaining pieces above this one leaving an 1/8" gap between each color. When I had all the pieces adhered, I lifted the panel and folded the excess tape to the back. I matted this panel on a piece of black cardstock and adhered it to the card base. I added the diagonal pieces of yarn, using mini dot adhesives.
I really like this card! Your take turned out fabulous, and what a cool way to use up the washi.
