This is my second card for the snowflake challenge over at The Paper Players. This personified snowflake card is for a young friend of mine. I began my adding a face to the snowflake and then added hand made hat and mittens. I adhered two other snowflakes behind the first one to add dimension and then adhered the snowflake to a piece of vellum. I trimmed the vellum with white cardstock , attached it to the card base and added embroidery thread.
Supplies:
Cardbase: Fox River Paper Co.
Vellum: ?
Snowflake punch: EK Success
Embroidery thread: DMC
Polyfil for mitten and hat trim
Gel Pen: Sakura
White cardstock: recollections
Marker: Zig Memory System
Adhesive: Scotch Quick Dry, Scrapbook Adhesives Foam Squares
I love this little snow guy - link up as many cards as you want at 52 Card Pickup, Brenda!
ReplyDeleteNow why can't the snowflakes really be like this, all fun and cute? Maybe then driving through a foot of it wouldn't be so bad...
