The current "Here We Come a-WASHI-ing" challenge at
Jingle Belles (a theme suggested by
Lela Meinke) has my creative wheels spinning at high speed. I've already created three other cards with washi and here's one more! This one was pretty simple to create. I punched snowflakes from squares of washi covered cardstock and layered the squares over black cardstock. I added a white gel pen border and that was it! Pretty simple and ever so quick to create!
Great way to showcase a variety of washi tape! I love the clean lines of your overall design. The white gel pen border really finishes it off nicely!
ReplyDeleteYou really are on a roll! Great design - I love all of the blues. The patterns are fantastic - my eyes keep dancing around the card.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for using tiny bits of washi tape .. and such a fun combination of colors and patterns ... thanks again for going *a-washi-ing* with us at jingle belles.
ReplyDeleteoh wow, that is soooooooo CLEVER, missus! not to mention beautiful and so striking! i love that the snowflakes are black... (there's a sentence i have never typed before, lol) ...b/c they stand out sooooooo wonderfully against the brightly colored tapes. this is brilliant in its simplicity! (but then you always think of some amazing twist, eh?! hence your awesomeness!) :) :) :)
