Wide-eyed Owl

I originally created this owl card for a challenge at Less is More.  The challenge was to create a ONE LAYER CARD that featured FUR or FEATHERS.  I started with a white card base and drew a picture of an owl. Using a black Bic marker, yellow colored pencil, brown colored pencil and a white gel pen, I created the owl.  I used black ink to lightly ink the background and added a tree with colored pencils and a black marker.  I added leaves that I created with a Q-Tip and Anna Griffin ink.  When I had finished the card, I decided not to submit the card for the challenge because I didn't leave white space which is one of the requirements for the challenges at Less is More.  I did however, have fun creating it and I guess that's what matters at this point.
