All Wrapped Up

If you need to be motivated to use your scrap pieces of ribbon, Just Us Girls might just be your answer. The technique challenge this week is to use scrap pieces of ribbon.  I have a container full of small pieces of ribbon that I couldn't part with knowing that one day I would need them.  Today is the day!  For this card I used short, leftover pieces of narrow ribbon and wrapped them around diamond shapes that I cut from cardstock.  I attached them to a white piece of cardstock in the shape of a star and cut around the star with decorative scissors.  For the center of the star, I punched a one inch circle and wrapped it with white ribbon.  I finished the card by adding the strips of ribbon on the left. This was a fun challenge and I STILL have a lot of ribbon scraps to use.  I'm off to make something else with it.
