Cattails at the Pond

The cue card this week at CASology is pond. So, I went with one of my favorite pond plants, cattails.  I used the Stampin' Up Inspired by Nature to stamp the grass with green ink and a brown Bic Marker to hand draw the cattail tops. I used a white colored pencil to add highlights to the cattails.  For the pond water I rubbed on  Sky Blue Metallic Rub-Ons and added highlight with a white American Crafts marker.

    1. Funny you should say this looks like a painting. When I was working on it, I was thinking about when I used to paint landscapes and such. I think I miss that. Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting. I appreciate it.
