January 2015 Sketch for
52 Christmas Card Throwdown |
This is my third card for the current sketch challenge at
52 Christmas Card Throwdown. I handcut a tree from green cardstock, added a tree trunk, then punched stars in the tree. Although it is hard to tell from the photo, I used gold embossing thread to represent garland. I continued the star theme on one triangle and added just a touch of green ink around the outer edge of the cardbase. This has been one of those challenges that keeps my brain working on overtime. I keep coming up with more and more ideas!
What a lovely card - you have used our sketch so well - I love your starry background. Thanks for joining in this week at 52CCT - Jacqueline xx

ReplyDeleteA very clean, simple card - I do like the traditional colours. Thanks so much for you continued support. Thanks so much for playing along with 52CCT this week!
ReplyDeleteBrenda I love the CAS design of your card and how the stars on the tree are on the background too. The traditional colour scheme is perfect. Thanks for joining in again with our sketch challenge, so glad you liked it!
