Colorful Birthday Card

The March sketch at the The Sketch File inspired this card. I was also inspired by the bits and pieces of scrap paper that I found in my stash. I started with the patterned background paper and then matched colors from the scrap stash. I explored a bit with textures by using embossing folders and love the bright colors and the end result.  I've included the March sketch below and hope you will find time to create and share your project with Kathy and I at The Sketch File.

Happy Tuesday! I'm sharing a card with stars and stripes and a few other patterned papers. I love the mix of colors and the happy feeling that they elicit.
