What do you think? Will this card work for a male recipient? I am trying to come up with a variety of cards that will work for my co-workers who are male. I don't know them well because I haven't been working with them for very long.
This card was created with scrap pieces of patterned paper. I simply punched squares from the patterned paper and layered them onto a white cardbase and matted this with colored cardstock. I printed the sentiment with my computer.

Challenging Myself
I have been given the task of creating birthday cards for some co-workers. Since most of my co-workers are male, this has presented a huge challenge for me. I have never been very creative when it comes to creating masculine cards. Over the next few days, I hope to create several cards that will be appropriate. I realized as I looking through my tools and supplies that I don't really have many masculine dies, punches etc. that will work so I am having to be creative with various shapes.

May Sketch Revisited
As we move into the last full week in May, I thought I'd share one more card based on our current sketch at The Sketch File. I am currently fixated on creating Christmas cards. I feel the need to catch up on them because I normally have far more made by now. In December, I will be happy that I spent the time on them now.
I kept this card fairly simple so it came together quickly. I hope you will join Kathy and I and share a card or two with us. Just a reminder, you should feel free to rotate the sketch, shrink it, enlarge it, flip it and use it for a card or layout. I am eager to see what you can create with it.

May's Sketch File Sketch
I'm back again with another card based on our current sketch at The Sketch File. I love the background colors on this card. The bright colors remind me of spring and happy thoughts. Won't you join us this month? Just use Kathy's sketch to create a card, layout or project and upload it at The Sketch File. You can enlarge, shrink, rotate and play with the sketch to make it work for your project.

May Sketch @ The Sketch File
I have been crazy busy and am just getting around to posting my inspirational cards for the May sketch at The Sketch File. I know it is only May and I am sharing two Christmas cards, but as I was looking through my collection of cards, I realized that I am behind on my Christmas cards. I normally have a bunch of them made by now and since I needed to catch up, I created two from our current sketch. I hope you will feel inspired to use Kathy's sketch and share your creation with us at The Sketch File.

May SKETCH
It's time to share our newest sketch at The Sketch File. Actually there are two versions, but that just means more inspiration. This month we are doing things a bit differently. Instead of inspiring you with cards from both Kathy and I, this time we're just posting a few of Kathy's cards. My cards will come next week. So, please take a minute to have a look at Kathy's cards and if you feel inspired, please post your creation with us at The Sketch File.
