April Sketch at The Sketch File

It's the last week in April and Kathy and I are sharing our last few inspirational cards for our current sketch at The Sketch File.   This is one of those cards that didn't turn out exactly how I had imagined and I'm not particularly happy with it. So, you might want to hop on over to the The Sketch File and see what Kathy's created.

April Sketch Challenge

I'm back again with another card based on our current sketch challenge at The Sketch File. The patterned paper that I've used has dragonflies on it and I ended up punching additional dragonflies from green vellum and added them just above the flower and circle.  I tried to keep this card simple, even though there are multiple layers. Strangely, Kathy and I both created cards with a green color scheme. You can take a peek at her card at The Sketch File.  I hope you feel inspired and will use the sketch to create a project or two and then link it up with us.

April Sketch Challenge

It's Tuesday which means it's time to share another card based on our current sketch.   Kathy and I will be sharing cards we've created based on the sketch throughout the month of April and hope you will be inspired by the cards/sketch. If so, please post your creation with us at The Sketch File.

April Sketch

Here we are already into the first week of April, which means it's time for us to share our latest sketch from the The Sketch File . It's another of Kathy's multi-layer sketches with loads of potential. I've decided to use it for this floral card.  I started with the patterned background paper and found scraps of scrapbook paper to create the flower and other embellishments. We hope you feel inspired and will share a creation or two with us at The Sketch File. Feel free to rotate, shrink, enlarge or flip the sketch....by the way, Kathy has a second version of the sketch posted at The Sketch File...feel free to use either version.
