3 Little Things Sketch

It's the last Tuesday of the month, which means there's only a few days left to use the current sketch at The Sketch File. Just use the sketch to create a craft and share it with us over at The Sketch File. Feel free to rotate, flip it, shrink it or do whatever. Just have fun with it.  My card was created with scraps of paper from Graphic 45 Tropical Travelogue collection.   It was one of those collections of paper that I bought and set aside because I loved the paper so much that I wanted to save it for a special project. I ended up making a mini album with it and kept all the bits and pieces that were left over.

If you are like me, you are wondering where the month of June has gone. Even though I am not working, the time is flying by. My family and I moved across country at the beginning of June and we spent three days unpacking and settling in. Now it's time to search for a job but in the meantime, I think I'll be spending a bit more time crafting.

Happy Crafting Everyone!
Thanks for stopping by.

3 Little Things Sketch

Here is my fourth card based on our June sketch at The Sketch File. For the three elements on this card, I added a cluster of flower shaped brads to an oval background. I also used bright colors as I wanted to make a cheerful birthday card.  Please, let us see what you can create based on the sketch and post it with us over at The Sketch File.

3 Little Things Sketch Revisited

Here is another card based on our current sketch challenge at The Sketch File. I decided to keep the color scheme simple and use only yellows and white. It's definitely a bright, cheerful card.

I hope you are feeling inspired and will play along with us at the sketch file. We'd love to see what you create with the sketch.

This is a scheduled post, as I will probably not have access to a computer for a at least a week. My family and I will be driving across the country in the next few days and will hopefully, meet up with the moving van lines that will be carrying all our belongings. I am eager to reach our destination (Virginia) and to unpack and set up our new home. In the meantime, I am sharing this card that I created based on Kathy's June sketch. I'll be adding this card to my growing pile of Christmas cards. The little wooden trees were in a prize package that I received from Steph and Lauren at Jingle Belles.  I absolutely love these trees. I love that they are the natural wood color.  I think using them adds a slightly rustic feel to the card.  While I am on the road, I hope you will have time to create something based on the sketch and post it here.

3 Little Things Sketch

It's time to introduce the June 2015 Sketch at The Sketch File. It's super fun and we hope you will have time to put together a card or two to share with us. I made this card for the daughter of a friend. I based the color scheme on the school colors and handcut the embellishments. The sketch was perfect for this theme.

Have a great week! See you at The Sketch File!
