Happy Thanksgiving

With Thanksgiving around the corner, I decided to start making a few more cards to send out. This card was inspired by the Freckled Fawn card sketch challenge over at PageMaps. Have you seen all the gorgeous  decorative tapes over at  Freckled Fawn?  I have added several to my Christmas wish list.  For this card, I began by using decorative tape around the outside edges of a vanilla card base.  Then I added the large embossed maple leaf.  I layered strips of the red and yellow patterned decorative tapes on cardstock and then punched the smaller maple leaves.  I also inked around the edges of each of these small leaves before adhering them with dimensional adhesive. Next I added a thin strip of red decorative tape and attached the sentiment that I had written on vellum.  To finish the card, I used a marker to add faux stitching next to the inside edges of the decorative tape.

Supplies:
Decorative tape: MME INDIE CHIC PICTURES TAPE
Large Maple Leaf: FISKARS FUSE DIE_CUT & LETTERPRESS & DCWV VINTAGE
Small Maple Leaf: EK SUCCESS MAPLE LEAF PUNCH
Green/Black Markers: BIC MARK IT
Adhesive: SCOTCH: QUICK DRY, ELMER"S CRAFT BOND GLUE SPOTS
Ink: STUDIO G
Card base: STUDIO G
